Thanks to a Greatest Hits compilation released in 2007, The Notorious B.I.G. has now scored his fifth million-selling album in the States. Billboard reports that the compilation sold 4000 copies for the week ending February 8, pushing the album's sales past the one million mark. The sales for that week are up 339% from the previous week, and as Billboard notes, it's likely because the album was sold for $4.99 on the iTunes store for that period.

Because of this surge, all five of Biggie's solo albums have reached the million-selling mark, with the two albums he finished when he was still alive coming through the biggest numbers. His second studio album, Life After Death, has over five million in sales, while his debut, Ready to Die, has almost four million. The two posthumous albums, Born Again and Duets: The Final Chapter, gained 1.96 million and 1.17 million respectively.

His numbers may increase even more soon, as USA Network's highly-anticipated anthology series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac & The Notorious B.I.G. begins its 10-episode season on Feb. 27. 8. Encore (2004)

6. Recovery (2010)

Recovery is unlike any of Eminem's previous studio albums. Lacking the skits, traditional guests, and goofball lead singles that characterized The Slim Shady LP through Relapse, Recovery is Eminem coming to terms with his own legacy, shedding the tired formulas that marked his previous albums and attempting to reassert his place in the pantheon of the hip-hop elite.

5. The Marshall Mathers LP 2

In November 2013, Eminem released a sequel to the widely cherished Marshall Mathers LP. In the buildup to MMLP2's release, Eminem stressed that MMLP2 wasn't going to be a follow-up to The Marshall Mathers LP. 'There won't be continuation of songs or anything like that,' he told Rolling Stone. MMLP2, it turns out retained most of the familiar themes from Em's earlier masterpiece.

4. Infinite
