Collections of Roms for RetroPie? Any other Necessities?

I'm planning to order a Rasberry Pi 3, and I'm getting ready for when it arrives. I'm ordering a kit containing a RP3, a case, a 32 GB microSD card, a microSD card reader, an HDMI cable, and a power supply. I'm also ordering 2 SNES USB controllers, 2 Logitech F310s, a USB extension cable (the cables on the SNES controllers look short), a USB 4 port hub, and a fresh 32 GB USB drive. Is there anything I'm missing? I will be using my TV to start, although I may eventually attempt to make an arcade cabinet. I'm looking for collections of ROMs to get ready for when everything arrives. I'd compile my own collections, but I'm a teen and haven't really played many old games, so I'm pretty new to this. I'm open to playing games for any system, and any genre of game. Would someone with a large collection be willing to share? Thanks in advance!

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm especially interested in local multiplayer games. I'd love to be able to play with a friend.
