Geforce Serial Number Lookup
Device Manager
Many versions of Microsoft Windows automatically detect and install your video card. Assuming no video issues exist with the video card, you can determine the video card is installed in the computer by accessing the Device Manager and looking under 'Display adapters.'
As seen in the picture, this computer has two video cards and both are labeled as NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX, which is the manufacturer and model of the video card.
If you right-click the video card and select Properties, you will get a window like the properties window also shown in this picture. As you can see, the location of this video card is PCI slot 2, which is helpful for computers with more than one video card expansion slot.
NoteIf your video card is being detected as a 'Standard VGA' adapter, Windows may not be detecting your video hardware correctly. If you need to determine the model of your video card so you can install the correct drivers, use a third-party program as detailed in the next step.
Third-party program
Download one of the third-party programs for detecting computer hardware. These utilities can be used to help identify and list all of the hardware found in your computer. One of the better third-party programs for detecting the hardware in your computer is Belarc Advisor, which is a free program to download and use.
At boot or POST
Many video cards and chipsets will list the video card and memory during the POST. Try rebooting the computer and as it is booting up, press the 'Pause / Break' key to temporarily halt the computer's boot process and read the text on the screen. If you are unfamiliar with video card manufacturers or chipsets, write down some of the company names you see and search our video card drivers section for that company.
OEM look up
If you have an OEM computer (e.g., Dell, Hewlett Packard, etc.), find the serial number or service tag number on the computer. Look up your computer on the manufacturer's website using the serial number or service tag to identify the video card and download drivers for it.
Debug routine
NoteNew versions of Windows no longer include the debug command. If you are running Windows Vista, 7, or 8, skip to the next step.
The steps below require that the user first get to an MS-DOS prompt or Windows command line.
At the C:> prompt, type the following command:
debug
At the - prompt, type the following command:
Cara download buku dari google book dengan idm. d c000:0040
After typing the above command, you should receive several lines of text similar to the following:
The example dump above gives you enough information to determine the make and the year of the video card. On line four in the above dump, you can see the make of this video card, which is nVIDIA TNT. If you were to search online, you would find that nVIDIA TNT is the Riva TNT graphics card chipset. Line five of the above dump provides the version of the card and line six provides the Copyright, which is the year the graphics card was manufactured.
If you cannot capture any information that sounds like the video card, you can also type the following:
-d c000:0090
The above command gives you a dump similar to the example dump above. However, it may have additional information about the video card.
Oct 26, 2018 - Follow these steps to download Pro or Standard versions of Adobe Acrobat XI or Acrobat X.
I have a license for Adobe Acrobat Standard X but no media (this is a new Dell computer). I've looked all over the site and I get directed to. Oct 26, 2018 - Follow these steps to download Pro or Standard versions of Adobe Acrobat DC (Non-subscription, serial number based). Below are new direct download links for Adobe Acrobat X (10) Pro/Standard, Reader, and Suite, without the Akamai Download Manager.
If the video card is onboard, you may get the motherboard name or chipset. If you have an onboard video card, you should get the video drivers for your chipset. Commonly the video drivers or chipset drivers are available through the motherboard manufacturer.
Once you are ready to exit the debug prompt, type quit and press Enter to exit back to the MS-DOS prompt. If you want to close the MS-DOS window, type exit and press Enter.
Open the computer
Unplug everything from the back of the computer, open the computer, and look for any visual identification directly off of the video card or motherboard. Many times you can find the manufacturer name, model, serial number, or other unique identifying information that can be used to identify the video card or video chipset you have. The picture below is an example of an AGP video card.
TipIf your video card is on the motherboard, you can find the motherboard video chipset by identifying the motherboard make and model and reading the motherboard documentation.
FCC identification number
If you cannot locate a manufacturer or model number of the video card, but you see an FCC identification number, it is recommended that you perform an FCC search using that number. Additional information about FCC numbers and how to search for information about an FCC number is on our FCC definition.

Whether you're setting up new computers for your office or creating an inventory of the hardware you already have, you may need to locate the serial number for a video card in order to add that info to your system data. If you purchase an Apple Macintosh computer, you only need one serial number to refer to the entire system, including its graphics adapter. Under Microsoft Windows, you may need to look in several places to find your video card's information.

1.
Power down your Windows PC and open the computer case to check its graphics adapter closely. Look for a sticker that contains the serial number. If you're not sure which card you're looking for, check for the port which your monitor cable plugs into, and examine the card that uses that port.
2.
Uncable and loosen the video card in the case so you can unplug it from the motherboard and remove it for closer inspection. If you don't find a serial-number sticker, look for a combination of numbers etched into and written on the card.
3.
Check the packaging in which you purchased the card, if you bought it separately from the computer. Look for a sticker on the warranty card or the flaps of the box. If you sent in the warranty card, check your files for a photocopy of it.
4.
Locate the invoice for your video-card purchase. Some technology vendors list the serial numbers of the items you purchase on the paperwork that documents what you bought.
Tips
- Use a GPU test utility (see Resources) to find out more information about your graphics card's hardware and performance capabilities.
- If you purchased the video card as part of a PC system, contact the company that manufactured your computer and provide information about your purchase, including other serial or invoice numbers, to obtain further details about your graphics adapter.
- Checking video card information through a Properties dialog box in Windows or other system-based means of displaying the card's name may provide inaccurate or incomplete information because it draws the details it reports from the driver software that powers the adapter, not from the card itself.
Warning
- If you remove your video card to look for a serial number, verify that you've reinstalled it correctly before you start your system backup.
