1. 'Ye Maaya Chesave'

First on our list is a cult classic for the current generation from the romance genre. It is directed by Gautham Menon and stars debutants Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu and came out in 2010. It was an instantaneous hit amongst the audiences and critics alike, and the music broke many records and remained on the charts for weeks altogether.
2. 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu'

Another Gautham Menon directorial, which came out in late 2012 and stars ‘Nani’ and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead roles. It initially received lukewarm reviews, but had a good run at the box office and deals with a much more mature story than Ye Maaya Chesave and starts right from school all the way to graduation.
3. 'Ala Modalaindi'

A 2011 romantic comedy film by Nandini Reddy and stars debutants Nani and Nithya Menen in the key roles. It is primarily a comedy film, but it has some quintessential elements which make it a romantic one, though not quite prevalent when compared to the whole plot. The cast looks quite adorable together, and the comic timing, and the love scenes are stitched perfectly to make it a good, if not a serious romantic entertainer.
4. '100% Love'

A 2011 romantic drama film by ‘Sukumar’ and stars Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah Bhatia in the pivotal roles. It marks a long-awaited hit for the director and the actor. It has a fresh story and great direction and well-executed screenplay combined with extremely well-enacted performances.
5. ‘Ishq’

A 2012 romantic film directed by Vamsi Paidipally stars ‘Nithin’ and Nithya Menen in the key roles. It marked the comeback of Nithin to the industry after a long time. It has a funny story, with some nostalgic elements and family-friendly romance scenes and some hearty laughs down the road.
6. ‘Arya’

A 2004 blockbuster romantic film directed by Sukumar and stars Allu Arjun in the lead role. When it came out, it was the first movie with a different plot and perception of how love stories can be. 8. 'Express Raja'

A 2016 romantic film by Merlapaka Gandhi and stars Sharvanand and ‘Surabhi’ in the key roles. It is the first hit of 2016 with regards to the box office collections and has a smooth screenplay and a funny, hysterical plot and won’t keep you bored till the end. That’s a promise the actor always delivers on.
9. 'Oohalu Gusagusalade'

A 2014 romantic movie directed by Srinivas Avasarala and stars Naga Shourya and Raashi Khanna in the major roles. It is a different story with a soothing experience and some good dialogues and romantic scenes and a twisted plot which is kind of nice in recent stories, due to repetitive stories being the norm. Watch it if you haven’t, it is a great movie and the one you should watch before watching anything else in this genre, apart from the above.
10. ‘Brindavanam’

A 2010 comedy film starring ‘NTR Jr’ along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal in major roles. It is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and primarily belongs to the comedy genre but with some notable romance sequences, which make it quite a natural choice for this list. It received critical acclaim for the cast’s performance and the ideology of the plot along with a buttery-smooth screenplay.
