News of the tour comes ahead of the American pop rocker’s co-headline shows at Reading & Leeds Festivals this weekend. The band dropped their sixth studio album ‘Pray For The Wicked’ in June. The record debuted at No.2 on the UK’s Official Albums Chart and No.1 on the US Billboard 200. Hit singles ‘Say Amen (Saturday Night)’ and ‘High Hopes’ both feature on the album, with the latter earning them their first UK Top 40 single since ‘Nine In The Afternoon’ in 2008.
Panic! At The Disco’s fifth studio album ‘Death Of A Bachelor’ received a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rock Album’ in 2017 and has yet to leave the UK Top 200 albums chart in over two and a half years. The record has also gone on to sell more than 250,000 copies in the UK alone, with the band accumulating over three billion worldwide streams to date.
Panic! At The Disco will be allocating £1 from every UK ticket from the band’s Pray For The Wicked Tour to Highest Hopes Foundation (HHF). Band frontman Brendon Urie recently launched the umbrella foundation to support non-profit organizations dedicated to leading the fight for human rights for all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse.
